Every Casa Pools build is shaped around the house, the outdoor area and the overall feel of the property.
Eight metres of pool run down the side of a compact modern block, so there's room for a proper swimming lane without giving up the whole yard. The interior is a green glass mosaic that shifts with the light, and a 3m × 2m spa sits at one end for the colder months. An in-floor cleaning system does the day-to-day work, so the owners spend their time in the water instead of skimming it.
An 8m × 3m pool set high on the block, positioned so the leafy outlook stays in view from the water. The interior is a white pearl glass mosaic that reads bright and clean under the pale stone surrounds and frameless glass fencing. A 3m × 2m spa sits alongside and spills into the main pool, so there's a warm spot to sit when the afternoon cools off.
A 4.5m × 3m pool wrapped in warm timber decking against a recycled brick wall, built as a private garden corner rather than a lap pool. The tile itself is a white glass mosaic with a pearl shimmer, though you'd be forgiven for calling it green: the water picks up the sky and the planting around it, so the colour keeps shifting through the day. With the uplighting on the brick at dusk, it turns into the best seat in the yard.
"I started on the tools in 2006, at 18. Twenty years later, I'm still on them. I don't think of these as concrete structures. They're pieces of art, and each one's different from the last."
Scott started in the pool industry in 2006 and spent the next 13 years learning the trade with a local Canberra builder. In 2019 he set up his own company doing structural pool work for other builders, then moved into custom concrete builds of his own under Casa Pools.
Because his background is on the construction side, Scott knows what every stage of a build needs, from the structural shell through to the final finish.
He does as much of the hands-on work himself as he can. That's how he keeps the quality consistent across a whole project.
Casa Pools stays deliberately small. Fewer builds a year means each one gets the time it actually needs.
Casa Pools is a brand-new business with twenty years of pool building behind it. Scott has worked on a big share of Canberra's pools through subcontract and licensed builder work since 2006. He just never got around to asking anyone for a Google review. We're sorting that out now, and the first ones will land here over the coming weeks.
